BIO
Personal Profile
“Syara, tell us a story” — this is a common phrase you’d hear among my group of friends.
Being a relatively chatty girl, I take chances to interact with people coming from different backgrounds. People may think it's being nosey, or what Singaporeans call it, kaypoh. But the beauty of this — we all learn from people one way or another, right?
What you may find ironic is that my MBTI type is INFJ (Advocates). Advocates are the rarest personality types of all, by the way. For all you know, I might end up being a gem in your life, or your company. (yes, hire me please!)
“Many Advocates are also strong communicators. This explains why they are often drawn to careers in writing, authoring many popular books, blogs, stories, and screenplays. Music, photography, design, and art can all be viable options as well, allowing Advocates to focus on deeper themes of personal growth and purpose.”
My experiences working with industry partners like Health Promotion Board and Singapore Cancer Society, interning at Ministry of Home Affairs and Circles.Life and working at Ministry of Education has allowed me to acquire skills such as content creation (video production/editing and designing collaterals), camera skills (videography and photography) and campaign conceptualisation and execution.
When not doing any media-related work, I enjoy baking! Apart from that, I use my occupy my time scrolling through Pinterest for food photography and social media design inspirations for my small baking home business (side hustle), @notburnt.sg on Instagram.

I use Pinterest to find aEsThEtiC miscellaneous posts (e.g. crafts, zines, room inspirations etc.) too!
